Pump installation, maintenance and testing

Welldrillers Wanganui can install new pumps, replace old pumps and maintenance repairs on current pumps.  Pump tests can also be carried out.

Pump tests

• All water taken for stock and irrigation purposes are subject to resource consent through your regional council. As part of the resource consent process, pumping tests need to be carried out. They are the constant rate and step drawdown tests followed by a recovery test and on-going water well monitoring. This process helps to establish a sustainable water take and will determine the type and size of pump that is requires.
• Welldrillers Wanganui have a range of submersible pumps with orifice plates and water meters, matching column pipes, power cables, and generator capacity to undertake pump tests to Regional Council standards.
